Some of you may have noticed some new names around here. What’s up with TNR?
A few months ago I was approached to sell the blog to pewpewtactical. After a very short discussion, I decided it was in the best interest of all parties to tell pewpewtactical to get away from me and my son and never speak to us again. Yea, no… I’m not selling anything.
So what happened is that I decided we needed more authors. Up until now I have been the primary writer and am responsible for nearly 400 articles. There have been a few guest posters over the years of which I am grateful for their help!
That said, I have invited two guest authors to have access to the blog to write and produce rifle related content. None of us are professional gun writers. We all have day jobs. We all work 9-5s.
Allow me to introduce Richard and Damien to our readers. With more authors hopefully, we can continue to feed quality content at a higher pace here at TNR.
We are attempting to produce high-quality rifle related content and I welcome the additional viewpoints that R &D can contribute to the blog. If you want to submit a well-written guest article, please email [email protected]. Keep it rifle related… reloading, marksmanship, gear reviews… you see our style so keep it in that vein of formatting and we can discuss your article!
Good day readers. Be sure to subscribe to our email list so you know when we post stuff. Those on the email list will be getting some free PMAGS soon, so if your on that list and your name is pulled, enjoy your mags! Keep an eye on the inbox next month. 🙂
“I decided… to tell pewpewtactical to get away from me and my son and never speak to us again.” Sweet baby, Jesus, THANK YOU!!! I found your blog 5 years ago and truly believe you have one of the very finest knowledgebases for riflecraft on the Internet. New authors and perspectives and welcome. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the kind words!
Since you brought it up, as a reader of both blogs, I would be very interested to hear more about your interaction with pewpewtactical, and the differences your dialogue uncovered, which would lead to such a remark. A remark which implies a fair amount of disdain for their negotiating tactics. Was it a difference in personal philosophies? Or a difference in commercial philosophies? Something else? Inquiring minds want to know!
No lol it’s not that deep. I said this is my passion project and I am not interested in selling. They said PewPew was their passion project and they understand. I didn’t really pull a Karen on them… but perhaps I should have. Maybe rabbit. Just maybe.
