Midwest Industries has been “discussing the idea” of releasing the GAU-5A in pistol form. In case you arent familiar with the GAU-5A, it is the new survival weapon to be deployed by the Air Force. It’s small size when broken down is a core feature as space is a premium in the cockpit.
It looks like a modern update to the never issued Colt model 608:
